Luke is a registered Osteopath who graduated from Victoria University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science (Clinical Sciences) and a Masters in Osteopathy. He is a member of Osteopathy Australia and is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Luke has a great love for Osteopathy and helping people. He enjoys treating a large range of different conditions in patients of every age range from babies to the elderly. He believes that health care is about building a therapeutic alliance and really understanding his patients and their pain. He also has a strong focus on education and exercise prescription. Education is often on related factors that can be contributing to a condition while exercise prescription is stretches and exercises someone can do at home to help themselves improve.
Luke grew up in Brisbane where he attended high school at St. Laurence’s College, South Brisbane. He moved to Melbourne to complete his studies in Osteopathy. He has been fortunate to have a variety of experience with different clinics including starting his career at Northside Therapies where he has now returned full time.
Luke enjoys constantly pushing his knowledge base and enjoys reading up on latest research surrounding health and medicine. He has done additional post graduate studies in paediatrics and dry needling as well as a lot of self-directed studies in medical management of chronic pain and acute vs chronic pain science.
Luke is married with 3 young children which keeps him very busy when not at work.
