Alana is a registered Osteopath who is dedicated to providing exceptional care to her patients. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Osteopathy) and a Masters of Health Science (Osteopathy) from Victoria University. She is a registered member of Osteopathy Australia and is recognised by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Alana provides a diverse range of Osteopathic treatment approaches to address a wide range of musculoskeletal issues. She enjoys treating low back pain, SI joint and hip pain, neck pain, headaches and TMJ (jaw) pain.
Alana has a particular interest in supporting mothers throughout their pregnancy journey and beyond. She enjoys providing care during pregnancy to alleviate discomfort, as well as educating her patients on how to improve birth outcomes. Additionally, she continues to provide postpartum care and support to newborns and infants where indicated.
Alana has a passion for treating children of all ages. She understands that there are unique needs for growing bodies and tailors her treatments to address a wide range of presentations.
Alana‘s treatment style ranges from soft to medium to firm, allowing her to adapt to each patient preference and requirements. She combines various osteopathic techniques along with exercise advice to deliver personalised treatments that are comfortable, effective and tailored to your specific condition.
Originally from Bendigo, Alana brings a warm and empathetic approach to her practice. In addition to her dedication to Osteopathy, she has a passion for travel and has worked at a summer camp in America fostering her love for working with children. Alana‘s adventurous spirit extends to exploring different countries and experiencing diverse cuisine.
